Wanted - Side cover latch / knob for 1979

Like the title says, I need one side cover latch for my 1979. for reference, its this part:

The ones from Mikes are $13, and total CRAP. The plastic that the knob is made out of is so soft that it stretches / cracks, and the knob falls off, and the spring falls off. Then your side cover rattles around, because the latch is useless without the plastic knob to hold the spring on. I have gone through 3 of the Mikes brand latches over the last 2 years.

I would take one from Mikes, if its REALLY CHEAP / FREE.

I would prefer an OEM one though, as the one OEM latch I have has lasted for years and years.

Any side cover latch / knob from 1974-1980 should work.
