Hey everyone, maybe someone can help me out. I am slowly getting this motor back together. Getting ready to get the clutch cover back on and boom, I find these two split washers in the old mucky oil.
Cleaned them and took some measurements. I cannot for the life of me figure out where the heck they go! They don't appear to be from the kick start assembly, I can't even find anything on any schematics! They're thin, 1mm in thickness. Any clue?

I was completely looking at the wrong kick start gear. I was looking at the actual gear the kickstart lever attaches too. Not sure how they popped out but luckily I found them in the cover
