I'm finally getting around to bulding a hydraulic clutch conversion for my bike, using an Aprilia 28mm slave cylinder and a Mikes XS 12.9 mm master. I'm running drag bars, just wondering what hose length everyone's been using? I plan to go with a 90 deg fitting on each end.

I used a piece of 14g wire, tied a loop around the caliper fitting, routed it up to the MC with another loop, then brought this mockup to the hose shop. I also brought the OG hose to match banjo angles and orientation.

I did the same conversion on mine and it really depends on hose routing. I ran mine over the stator/rotor cover on the left hand side cover and up the left hand down tube. I don't have the measurement at the moment but I did something similar to avenue. I cut the banjo fittings off an old rotten hose and attached them to some 1/8" hose to determine length and took it to the local hose fab shop so that they had the right angles and orientation to go by.
