What tool to remove a steering head nut?

What tool or method or both is used to remove these bad boys?

You can use a hammer with a punch or a falt head screwdriver (gently) but the best way to remove it is to use this tool.

You can find at Mike's XS for 10 bucks. (part number #35-3005)

A rod to tap it around............I use my valve guide install tool but a large phillips woud work..........amoung other things..........don't hit the tank or take it off........lol..............counter clockwise off...........

Just did this yesterday. Worked like a champ. Surprised how quickly the bike came apart. Now the whole putting it back together thing...
