can someone call me and maybe help me out I have been looking for a black box and dont know where to find one 304-914-7767 someone said to contact pamco pete does anyone have his number

I just purchased this bike and someone made it into a chopper but the engine is from a 81 xs650 any help would be appreciated

I found out recently that there were 2 black boxes used. One had a 6 prong plug, the other a 7. You'll need to figure out which one your bike needs.

I believe '82 and later had the 7th wire, which went to a kick stand switch.

If you do some searching, there are many threads on repairing the box you have. I agree with xjwmx 82 and later had the sidestand switch and relay to prevent the bike from being ridden with the sidestand down.
