XS2 fork rebuild kweshtuns...

Ok, forks came apart OK and I want to replace the oil seal's in the lower legs (tubes). HOW do I get the dust seal cover (chrome cover) and the dust seal OFF the legs (tubes)??? Are they just a real snagglepuss to pry off cause these babies ain't budging... thanks! madjap

Year? If its the early forks, there is a very small hole usually facing the wheel you can spray penetrating shtuff into, wait a while, and start wiggling

I should mention it was only about 25 degrees out in the olllllllllll' garage today as I tried this. Maybe I better get the hairdryer out and heat the part up as well. Thanks...

That would deff help. They just slide up. Not screwd on.

Yes if they have been on there a while they will be kinda stuck but will slide up.
