xs650 motor in a cb750 frame

hi guys just wondering if anybody as done this or knows if it can be done,i just found a great deal on a rolling cb750(seller is keeping motor) with a harley springer front end and was wondering if i can install a xs650 motor i have,i also have a xs650 frame with no neck that i can remove all the mount from and install them on the cb750 fame.it all seems easy in my mind but is it really,need your feedback guys,thanks

Those wide apart down tubes getting in the way of your exhaust can be an issue.
 
You can do it. I don't think the downtubes would be a problem myself, as the jug on the XS is straight up and down and should leave you plenty of room for the pipes. hooktool is right that it will look very small in that frame, but what the hell. You'll have to get creative with motor mounts and get the sprockets lined up. Not much more to it.

I'd snag that and then start looking for a big inline 4 to stuff in it, myself.
