xs650, xj650 differences?

hey guys, new to the forum and looking into getting a xs650. a cheap xj just popped up on craigslist and i wanted to see what the difference was. idk if its just trim or what..any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks

It's an entirely different scoot. The XJ is a shaft drive inline 4 cylinder and the XS is a chain drive parallel twin. No similarities at all.

ha cant believe i didnt notice that.. i'll blame it on monday morning not quite having my eyes open yet. thanks though
