Potential bobber build

Hello everyone, I’m new here and have been going through a bunch of threads and can’t seem to find exactly what I’m looking for.

I’m potentially going to be turning the 650 into a bobber.

I want to now if there is a step by step build process, or some sort of YouTube video?

This will be my first bobber build and hopefully not my last.

Is it as simple as cutting the rear frame a bit, modifying the fender, welding and fabbing some new tubes, removing air box, and battery tray?

- any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Allen.

My suggestion would be look at styles and determine what you like. Then take into consideration what would be comfortable for you to ride. My first bobber build came out great but I realized that being a taller person I didn’t really fit it. FF a few years later I ended up changing the frame back and couldn’t be happier now.

Lowbrow Customs has a YouTube channel. They do a thing called Saturday Sportster. They did a series on building a chopper from scratch. You’ll want to watch that.
