XS750 battery 8.6Ah

Is it ok to install higher Ah battery . Not sure what the rating for the XS750 1979 is.

I buy mine at a local NAPA. If anything is wrong with it, I have someone to deal with it face to face and right now. My store had batteries for my XS1100 and my XS650 in stock. They also were able to look up the correct battery, so wrong battery is on them. My local O'Reilly store has them too. You may have similar but different options. JAT

I’m not concerned about the battery. I’m concerned about the stator and the whole system.

8.5Ah is titchy for an XS750 - should be more around 14Ah.
