Just one small thing - the wires on your brushes are routed incorrectly, they should wrap around the outside of the brush. You can see the little slot provided in the brush holders for the wire to route through.

Good point. Haven't realized. When I opened her up, that's how she was wired. I will fix it to make it right. Thank you.

UPDATE:
New regulator/rectifier came in today. I bench tested it first a little and was happy with its proper function. Installed it, wired it in and I now have a functioning charging system. With the battery not really fully charged, the voltage showed 13V at idle and rose to 13.5V around 2,000rpm (as expected).
Ops check good, return to service!
(I will re-evaluate later, after I get her on the road and riding with varying rpm)
