Heck that looks much beter than the 1972 I partsed out! About the same or better than the 1981 ride to work bike when I retired!
Carbs off 155 psi left 140 right!
Carbs were majorly gummy but have the butterflies and slides freed up.

After considerable heat n chemicals slides , throttle shafts and chokes are moving. Had to do it over tbis morning cuz the goo set up again.

Couple hours in the heated cleaner, dawn dish detergent. About 165F.

That's great! I have an 15+L heated unit from an old job, it's quite nice compared to my old (7+ year old) HF unit (gave it to a friend and it's still kickin). I built a couple of 80 gallon, portable, ultrasonic tanks for passivating small stainless parts awhile back. Had 1200W of heating (could easily get up to 150+), filtration pumps feeding circulation tubes and 8 kw of power. I could of done an engine block in it, no problem!
I use simple green ProHD or extreme aircraft cleaner in mine. i've found those to be safe for every material and do a great job of cleaning.
Another Simple Green fan here. That and my dinky 1 quart heated unit have nuked a bunch of carbs in the last 10 or so years. I run mine at 140°, might try running it a little hotter next time I need to de-gunk a carbatooter.
