    Exhaust backfiring just off idle????

    Bs34's, pod filters (mikes xs pods), U.S. needles, 45 pilot jet. It idles fine, but just above idle it begins to backfire out of the exhaust, and then runs fine after that. Is this a lean problem?

    I have stock ignition and brand new rubber intake boots. Im about to make a manometer to get the sync right.

    Wow i thought the raging was being caused by a rich bowl fuel level. thanks for the heads up on that, I'll adjust them back to how I had them. I definitely didnt have the nylon bushing set correctly into the hole. I'll do some adjusting and tweaks and get back to you guys Thanks

    WOT feels like it comes out of gear,Help!

    Well, The shifting issue has worked itself out, I dont know how I fixed it other than just taking the right side case off a few different times. it was still pretty finicky to shift but it has slowly gotten better. Even with the new vesrah clutch springs, it still feels like at wide open...

    Floats wont come out!

    Yeah I just used my little punch a few times and they ended up coming out. But that tool is genius, I wish I would have found that before I punched them out, the tool is a much safer way to remove those pins for sure.

    Rear drum brake squeaking!

    I went ahead and reluctantly (im lazy) took apart my rear wheel and got into my drumb, sanded my pads that sorta looked to be glazed over a bit. Now the squeaking all gone thanks fellas

    So I hit up my local pepboyz, bought a box of "grease fittings" that different sizes, drilled out the smallest fitting, ball dropped out, and then I went fishing for the spring still stuck on the inside, got the spring out, popped it in the choke spot, and boom, all done, everything works...

    I'm think the springs actually fell out completely and are no longer in the carb at all. I've searched my entire garage, trash can, workbench, everything, but no sign of the 2 springs. Ill look closer again at the carbs to make sure they're not just hiding way up in there, but I'm pretty sure...

    So I finally tore into my BS34 carbs to rebels them and do a proper cleaning. The olny problem is that I lost the mini choke springs that are located up near the top slide diaphragm, theres a little mini ball and spring that fwll out when I removed the choke rod. I have the mini metal balls...
