As you can see from the photo, the stock xs2 foot pegs I have interfere with the bottom of the kick starter such that i cannot slide the bracket over the upper mount stud. Are the foot pegs for the tx650 different, so if i get a set I will be ok? Or will I have to make (rig) something?

Handlebar shopping and the ones I am interested in are 7/8" bars, but the specs refer to a 1" clamping area width. You would think I would have noticed by now, but are stock bars on a Special 1 inch at the clamps? Do I have my head up my ass on this?:shrug:

I have a 21" front wheel from a 1974 Honda XL125 on my build. It has a built in speedo drive. Other than using a stock Honda unit, how do I choose a speedometer to work with it? Are they all the same? What do I need to know? (ratios & stuff)

I love Magura levers, acquired a set in 1975. But, control levers eventually wear-out at the pivot hole. You can either replace (if you can find them), or try to bush the pivot hole. But if that pivot hole is already worn, good luck drilling out in original location. I like to bush levers...
