Seeing as this is Memorial Day, A day of remembrance of those fallen in the protection of our people, I would like to thank any who had a person from their families that served and gave their all.
I want to thank all those who have served or now serve to protect our people.
Thank You all.

relatively new to riding, new to the SX650 lifestyle. I'm looking for some buddies to ride with. I have one friend riding with me now who I am selling my last bike to. But the more the merrier! If you're in town or nearby, lets:bike:
Just another project! :D
Originally a 1953 Ford Panel.
Now: It sits on a 1973 F250 Hi-boy frame w/ 22" cut out of the frame(!), divorced transfer case, and 35X12X16.5 tires. Power is from a '67 merc 460/C6 + a Warn O/D unit.... Oh, and 3" chrome side pipes!

This accident happened yesterday here in Calgary. Initiating factors as I see them...........young driver, powerful bike, very high rate of speed, high traffic density.
May long weekend and the...
Last year was bad for motorcycle accidents and deaths, and looks like the pattern will continue this year. I urge everyone to be extra careful when you head out on your bikes this spring. Drive as if your life depends on it, because it does. Here is the report from a local newspaper:
"Police...
While out for a ride yesterday I spotted this in a Farmer's Junk Pile
From a little googling I see that it's a Yamaha XJ550R.
Anyone work on any of these? Are they worth restoring? From the looks of the place, I doubt there's a title or even a set of keys, but who knows.
That...
Hey ya'll! Picked up this Kawasaki last night. It's been sitting for a year and a half, the owner had moved away and left this behind. Saw it while out strolling with the wife, did some detectoring and tracked down the owner. Let me have it for a song.
Title and keys will be coming shortly...
Qatar starts in like 15 minutes. Marquez in the #1 slot. Everyone is hungry, let's see how it goes! I love night racing.
I actually like the MOTO 2 and MOTO 3 classes better. MOTO 2 is just basically "MX at 150mph" .. those guys are SO aggressive and ride the cheese out of those 600s...
I put this together from a $100 titled basket case in our living room. The engine is a 96 z50r that I built to 88cc with a race head and cam. It's street legal and does 45-50mph with my 180lbs on it. She's just learning to ride but it rips with her on it.
Anyone have any suggestions on a US vendor who might carry this? I have searched high and low and can only find Pyramid in Australia! I really need it this week if possible. Allballs doesn't make em. Also gonna post this on xs500 forum.
Thanks y'all.
I know its not a 650 but this place has been my home for many years so I wanted to share it here. Every part is being done here in house, Every thing is powder coated except the black on the engine which is high temp paint.
I wanted to enter this one in the build off but since its a 400 I...
Kind of off topic but every so often I get all bummed out about one bike in particular that I wish I never sold. Wondering what bikes you guys wish you never got rid of.
Here she is(was)
So I live in PA, bought a 81 xs off my buddy as a parts and project bike so I can finish up a few things on my build then sell the other bike. Well in PA you have to have VIN specific insurance to have the title changed over for a motorcycle. I don't want to get insurance on it because its in...
I get a free semi monthly email from these guys, and I really like their mag and articles.

The only problem is the antique envy it creates....
From this morning's article.
To my American cousins who are suffering in the extreme cold our best wishes go out to you and your kin,
I thought we had it bad over this side of the pond in Blighty, I wish I could make you all a cup of hot sweet tea :)
