I had 5 or 6 CB750s over the years including a '69 K-1 punched to 836 with Weber carbs, cam and tt pipes. Blame thing ate 900 and 1000 Kaws for breakfast but scared the crap out of me.
I recently picked-up a couple of basket case CB450 twins.
If I were to ever buy another inline 4 it would be a CB550 like the 550K-1 I bought new way back when. ('74 or '75?) The 750s are just too heavy for my taste and not as smooth as the 550.
And on top end, back in the day, the CB550 was nothing to sneeze at.
