I just picked up a old bike and wanted to restore it. So I checked and don't see anything on sticker. Stamp is 4N9-00563? What year make and model is it? Where can I find side covers and all that to restore it to its original form? Thank you all in advance any help will be appreciated!

First off welcome.

81H. 463rd one off the production line for that year.

Check out the classifieds on here and/or post up a wanted add. ................Ask a lot of questions. These models have Factory Electrinic ignition, (TCI), and BS34 Carbs. Pretty much all Parts will swap from 80-83....Side-covers, airbox's and carbs on the 78/79 Specials are different..........

Thank u for the greeting. I'm new to this kind of style. Always stayed with kawi. There are a lot of questions. I have built previous bikes. Recently built a 79 ironhead and a old 72 Honda cb554. Turned out great so I have some experience. Curious with this wiring though. Is there any sights I can find to get a wiring diagram? I'd like to completely rewire it.

Not really rare. Back in the day the special II was the loss leader XS650. There were ads selling it brand new for $995! But these days many like the look of spokes.

Welcome to our little slice of the XS650 life.
If you click the Tech button up near the top of the page you will find almost everything XS650. Scroll down to Electrical, find the "Some Wiring Diagrams" thread

Check out this site https://thexscafedotcom.wordpress.com/ the administrator doesn't post any more and he took it down but put it back up after some requests. Best to download anything you may want because we never know what the future holds and a couple of very helpful XS650 sites have gone off line. We are not getting any younger.

He is a bunch of Manuals and Parts Manuals from, https://thexscafedotcom.wordpress.com/tag/manual/
