Hello to all! My first street bike was a brand new 79 SF. Now I have an XS1-b and a 76 rat that I will be tearing into soon. Hoping to learn more about engine rebuilding and restoration on my 76. Will post photos soon. Mick

Thanks! Not sure about the 76. It was free with a clean Pa title, so I couldn't turn it down. Once I tear the engine down and see what I have, I'll make a decision.

Thats a job well done on the 71' Good to see one brought back to life, they are getting scarce.
The 76' ...you could go bicentennial on it. Thats what I think of every time I hear 76'

Thanks alot! I was lucky to get the XS1b. The "76" turns out to be a 78 with a 79 engine as far as I can tell.
