Yep, always done it that way. I have avoided a few major boo boo's in following that process and often changed something as I'd seen it from a different perspective.

The snow is starting to melt - so back in the shed!
Got my electrics finished today
All lights, LEDS, horn, stop and tail working lovely. I also have a nice fat spark on the plugs too
Encouraged by that, I HAD to try and go for start - so popped some fuel line on and some, albeit, old petrol from when i got it, some hefty kicks, a bit of timing adjustment and then a rather loud living bike - just for a few seconds till the fuel in the pipe bowls ran out - but she lives!! When the bike is painted i have some nice mesh sheathing to go over the exposed wires - another ebay find!
Tomorrow, I am going to fit up the real petrol lines and then get her running again!

Cool! Paul I'm glad you got your bike wired my friend. You've come a long way.
Hell yeah, You got to run those lines and run her some more.Make sure you crack the door open a little though.
