warped side cover?

I bought this from flea bay and now wonder if it's warped? Or do they just they just fit that way?
My old one was broke off in this area when I got it.

Normal for the left side cover.
Somebody probably thought the old one was warped and tried to straighten it out, thus breaking it off.

I went out to look at my 75 and my 81. I noticed something, on the 81 it has a rounded corner like yours but my 75 has a square corner.
Wonder what year that changed?

Yeah I think 75 was the last year for the square corner.

I heard about that, i'm just disappointed in the fit of the cover. I have another rounded cover, and it fit the same. Oh well, could be worse.
