I rode from Memphis to Eureka Springs on my 650, the June calendar bike. I did not take pictures of any riding, unfortunately. It was a very well run VJMC convention that I attended. Bike pics

That’s a pretty rare bird. They weren’t big sellers here in the US, based on a BSA A7 design, but they were heavier, more expensive and vibrated more than their British counterparts, BSA and Triumph. Sales were discontinued in the US in the late 60’s but remained popular in the Japanese home market, surviving into the mid 70’s, long enough to be upgraded to a twin disc setup towards the end. Interesting bike and the one in your photograph is a beautiful example!

this guy. I can move right along, and he was hanging right with me unless the climb was too steep for his CL350. Nobody was waiting for us to catch up. He told me later, he's 81 years young. He said he has no plans to give it up.
 
Took a little ride to visit a "Civil War" memorial today. A leisurely pace through the county

took me to the "Town of Rhine" and a memorial dedicated 4 July 1868. This is special not only because it commemorate s the 23 that didn't return but also the side story. The team of horses pulling the wagon were worn out and it was night so the memorial was unloaded 1/2 mile short of it's destination, "Rhine Center".
