Most of my machines are over twenty years old...But have as yet, needed rescued

Installed LED Headlight. Working on additional wiring circuits and switches. I have to figure out why my high beam indicator stays on in low and high beam stays on now. I had a similar issue when I switched to LED turn signals.

My "79" XS is to the point of putting some miles on it. I don't have the original tool kit for it, so I have to put one together. Besides bailer twine and fencing wiring, what have you got? Gimme some useful suggestions.

I've been having similar problem. Hard starting with occasional backfire thru the carbs. Ran real rough while warming up. One of my issues was weak springs on the timing advance weights. The weights weren't completely close so the engine had some advance when trying to start. My other problem...
