Hey folks, I'm just getting started on my first custom build and I want to go with 11" shocks on the rear. I'm looking for advice on which shocks people have had good experience with. The big catch: they need to be black. So rebel shocks, or some other chrome shocks won't do it for me.
I was looking at the progressive 412 series. But I was speaking to someone at Progressive and he was such a CSer to me that I would prefer to not give them my business.
I'd prefer that the entire shock unit be black, but I could settle for black springs and caps. Or what about painting caps and springs? good idea? bad idea? Anyone have any advice at all? I would really appreciate it.
