have 73 TX 650 bad engine can buy 1981 xs 650 engine with 4,038 miles on it ! can i put in 73 bike !! what about wireing ! will it bolt of the same , love to use this engine and carbs person only want $ 175.00 for it , thanks for any help

Yeah it will bolt in. wiring is different because the 81 has TCI ignition and uses a different type of voltage regulator. Good carbs but won't fit/align with the stock air boxes.
