- This bike is based off of a 1979 XS650 Special -
The bike was originally picked up from Bent Bike in Lynnwood and boy-oh-boy was it in sorry shape.
The engine was tore down and rebuilt from the ground up with new pistons, rings, pins, valves and guides and all new clutch plates and spacers.
The motor only has test miles on it at this time so it is essentially a brand new motor.
The frame received a full make over as well and after a few subtle modifications it was media blasted and powder coated metallic gun metal grey.
The paint work (tank & seat) has been finished in a custom blended MATRIX multi-metallic black with multiple coats of clear for a high gloss finish
