Make Offer - 78'-79' XS650 standard tank

Upon responding to 53xs650’s WTB posting the other day, I’ve already received many inquiries in regard to the ’78-79' standard tank I listed.

My original plan was to post the tank on Ebay later this week, but in light of the overwhelming response, I’ve decided to post it here with a few more pics and accept the best offer.

It’s not museum quality but is in very good shape, no dents, clean inside, includes both badges, both petcocks, locking cap w/key, and despite the pics is actually a very dark blue in color.

All shipping costs from 98225 and Paypal fees to be covered by the buyer, I get very reasonable rates via an account I have with Fedex.

FUI; The bike may have had a late 78 production date but the bike is classed as a 79F.

78 tank had a, one year only petcocks. 79F paint color and Decal

I think the decals are slightly different, the 78 gold is a complete loop, the 79 ends front and back.
