Hey all!!
Getting close to the wiring portion of my chopper build and I have a question for those of you who have ran the 8 cell anti gravity battery. I saw before I ordered it that it is recommended to upgrade your regulator/rectifier to a more modern one. My bike is a 1980 with the stock reg/rec. Do I absolutely need to replace it with a newer one or would the stock one be fine?? I never had any charging issues or anything with this bike before the chop. Anyone have actual experience with this??

Here's a few pics of the build just for fun

Helluva front end got a chopper build !
I'd run stock electrical unless it fails
:twocents:

Yeah! It's off a 91-92 GSXR 750. I wanted something different from the usual shaved XS or shaved harley front end

I'm going to run all stock electrical if I can. It's never given me any issues before. I just know that the Anti gravity batteries can be kind of temperamental. Only going with the AG battery because I can mount it in anyway I want and it's compact.
