I believe, and it's been a while , that the middle of the bolts part number will indicate the size. XXXX-060008-xxxxx would be an M6 bolt x 8 mm in length.

I bought a basket case with no swingarm, I ordered a '77 swingarm and the frame is an '80. I didn't realize this until last night when I found some '80 shock bolts in a box that came with the bike. So I guess I need the size of the '77 shock bolts. Will I have any issues bolting shocks from a '77 swingarm to an '80 special frame?

I think I have some older swing arm bolts. I will check tonight
The 80 frame on the top shock mounts they may be longer and need an extra washer.
The swing arm bolts are all the same. If you have them to fit the 80 they will fit the 77 swing arm.
