Another Donor Bike

I picked up this 75 XS650 yesterday. It has a few parts from other years but the tires hold air and for the most part it`s unmolested. "Sorta" Anyway it has 120 lbs compression on both cyls. I`m charging my test battery and tomorrow I`ll give it a try with a little starting fluid and see what happens. I really didn`t need this at all "but"!

I'd sure like an opportunity to cherry pick your left over parts when you get around to doing something with it.

Yesterday I was so busy having fun picking up and bagging leaves I forgot I even owned a motorcycle but this morning I hooked up the battery, checked the oil and with a little starting fluid the bike fired right up and sounded really good. Didn`t run for long but ran smooth with no unusual noise`s etc.

Today I completely stripped the donor bike. I`m not even going to bother with the Heritage whatever it is. I just wanted the motor with TCI ignition. The rest is headed for the junk shed.
