It's a yamaha R6 shock. I welded a plate across the bottom and drilled a hole in the center then used the original R6 top mount bracket on the bottom. I'll try to get a pic up later.

not really a good pic of the flat bar I welded. still a little to soft. might change some things.

More pics it's about finished and ready to fire up. Mikes XS didnt come thru. He shipped everything but petcock rebuild kits. no notification.

Hmmm..Mikes is weird. I ordered 1 brass bushing and it was sent in a huge box. Not complaining, just saying it could have been sent in a padded envelope and save some cash on shipping.

Bark...I'm going to the bone yard on Friday to find a monoshock setup.

I got the shock on ebay if u dont find anything. it's from 10" to 11" or close to that.

Changed the handle bars to some clubmans. I like it much better.

With the straight pipes and pods, what are you running in your carbs for jets and needles?

Also, I got a monoshock off E-bay for $25. Can't wait to get it on.

as of right now 135 main, #30 pilot and 3 notches down on the needle. That setup does not work. Way to rich.
going back to 135 main, #27.5 pilot, and two notches down and go from there.
Did the adjustments to the valves and cam tonight. mess w/ carbs later.

The F.N.L. has not seen it yet. kinda of nervous but at the same time I don't give a shit.
I've pissed my dad off my whole life cause I'm not into old vettes. I'm good w/ the hate.
