Bike rebuild 1980 Special

Gday guys
I have 1980 Special which I have totally stripped down and I am now in the process of putting it back together. The frame is back from the powder coaters and i am ready to get in to it. I have a few questions to put to the forum cos i need some advice:

Is it best to put the forks and wheels back on to the frame before putting the engine in? Or do you put the engine in first?

What tips and tricks can you pass on in regards to getting the engine in without scratching the new powder coat?

Also I am redoing the wiring. Are the harnesses from Mikes XS any good? I have bought a fair bit of stuff from there and havent had a problem yet. Just wondering if any one else has used one of his harnesses.

Either lay the engine on it's side, put the frame around the engine, bolt the engine and frame to gether, set upright. put on the other parts.
Wrapping the frame with padding to prevent scratches.
Put the frame together to make a roller then put the engine in.
I put the engine in the roller. But A few scratches don't bother me.
