All,
Been a while since I last posted here. Sold the 650 a couple of years back and moved on to restoring 6 or 7 more bikes. Had to rent a storage locker to keep them all. Since last, have also built a vapor blaster and a powder coating oven so no more out sourcing for the work. Enjoying retirement......
My latest restoration is on a 1980 XS850G. I know it is not a 650, but thought I would give it a shot.
I have done a full restoration and for some reason I can't find (or forgot for some reason) a picture of the frame label before I powder coated it.
By any chance, does anyone have a 1980 XS850G and could take a picture of the frame label so I can reproduce it with my VIN. Not needed for certification of the frame as the VIN is on their, just trying to bring it as back to stock as I can and fill in the blanks on the missing data.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Here is a partial picture that I managed to find.
Current restoration state. Just need to mount the exhaust and do the brake lines and retore body work and it is done.
