Does this require that you change alternator as well or does it work with the standard set up ? I’m mostly into using the original points type - but my last rebuild cause me a lot of trouble getting it set correctly - done 4 previously and they all turned out fine, but this one seem to keep getting out of wack whatever I do ( looks all good when I check it static, but as soon as I do the dynamic check it seem off on one or the other cylinder ) so I’m thinking about ditching the point although I don’t like the expense of the electronic options !
