Can someone tell me what this piece of rubber hose is for?!?

My vm34s came with 2 pieces of this rubber hose! What’s it for?

so i received 2 sets. 1 set looked like it was meant to connect the carbs to the manifold and the other set just looked like plain hose. If you look it the picture I posted, the one on the left is the one I’ve been using but I’ve been having symptoms of a vacuum leak. What are the differences of the two?

I got them from HOOSracing with my carbs. They look exactly like the metal ones from tc bros.

gosh that’s good to hear. I hope that me using the other ones is the cause of my vacuum leak. That would solve all my headaches and frustrations haha
