Picked upa new 120 link chain so I can figure out the fender mounts and the chain is much longer than I thought it would be.. I have a tcbros tail and am not sure how many links to remove...HELP!!

I set the rear wheel all the way forward and ran the chain around the sprockets and brought the ends together to figure the length. I think I took 10 links off. I also have the TCBros hardtail and bought the 120 link chain.

As 99orton said. Move the wheel all the way forward, Here is where I do things just a bit different. Put the top end of the chain on the rear sprocket so its about half way down around the sprocket. Pull the bottom tight and put up around the sprocket.
If the rollers hit on the teeth, give it just enough slack so it fits on the teeth. Once you get the chain up to the where the top end sits on the sprocket you will see where to cut the chain.
Better to cut it a bit long and have to cut more off than cut short and try to add some back.
Try it you figure it out.
