Clutch, cam chain questions,

Hello again,
I have my motor apart,
Replacing Pistons, rings cam chain guide ,
starter gear,

Also found my clutch basket had a broken spring and my metal plates are blued a bit,
Fiber plates measure good, but heasitant to reuse them,
Got a decent basket off of eBay.

Clutch springs were out of spec , probably why it was slipping ?
Ordered ebc springs

First question is on fiber plates
Mine are measuring 2.88 to 2.94
Should I give it a go with them ?

I was looking at 650 direct they have fiber plates for 9 dollars a piece.
Has anyone tried them?
Or should I pony up for a name brand?

Another question is my cam chain,

The bike shows 13,000 miles.
I guessing that I might as well switch this out while I’m at it.

The cheap rebuild idea, is already long gone.

Painted the engine the other day , it turned out pretty good.
40degrees out
Paint can in one hand , heat gun in the other

gggGary has clutch plates if you need them and the new ones are thinner than stock so you would need an extra clutch plate and metal plate. 2.7 is your wear limit so those are still in spec, 3mm was what they were new. Check the tech section.
