What is the most direct route that requires removing the fewest number of components? Mine bit the dust, but luckily i picked up a spare on another board recently. Thanks in advance.
Remove the bolt that holds the fender liner to the frame on the lower right side. You can then push the liner out of the way and get to the two bolts that hold the reg/rect to the frame.
Agreed. I took all 3 out for plenty of room. Rpm @ idle jumped to 1400 after I put the new reg rec in. It was around 1100 prior to the swap........the joy of a new toy.
