Finally bought a .8ah battery, But I might have screwed up?

I went down to batteries plus and picked out the smallest battery they had, it's the size of a pack of cigs. I get it home and realize it has two tiny wires coming out of it instead of terminals. They are are probably 18 guage. Will they burn up?

Measure the bare wire diameter with a caliper or mic. .040" (18 ga) will work, but .050" (16 ga) is better...

I use a 1.3 ah battery from battery's plus it has terminals. probly a tad bigger than the one you have. it works great
