I'm having the toughest time deciding if I should go fixed vs folding.

I'm going to use a set of tarozzi universal rearsets for my build on a tcbros hardtail, so my ground clearance is ab 5". I also plan on making my mid mount bracket ab 1" higher than the factory exhaust mounts on the frame.

Aside from the obvious, what are the advantages/disadvantages?

I am leaning towards a solid mount bc for one, I don't know if the bike will ever get low enough to snag, and also bc the rearset itself is more compact than the folding version. I also think a solid mount will keep the bike's sides intact a little better than a foldable in the even of a crash....

What say you all?

My pegs are fixed, and are lower than you are wanting, and I can drag a knee without any part of the bike touching the ground. (my bike has stock rear shocks and lowered 2.5" in front)
