Hi,

How do I remove the footpeg retaining pins? It looks like there is a rivit in the center of the pin. Is there a way to do this without destruction?

I plan to take my bits to have powder coating done tomorrow, these included.

thanks

I ran into the same problem with mine. You have to drill it out and use a new smooth bolt and cotter pin from hardware store.

yeah you have to drill it, then order oem pins from procaliber and dill a small hole for cotter, the oem posts are cheap and fit wonderful check out pg 13 of my build thread

Very good! I drilled them out a few minutes ago and drove them out with a few taps with a drift.

I'll probably go with the stock ones too since I already need to buy new rubber bushings. My pegs are pretty good, but will check the price of the rubber for them too.

This site is great for getting quick and excellent guidance without the "edge" of ".. you jerk.. you should know this"

Big thanks for this and the other help I've been getting on my first XS650!!
