Headlight bucket wiring hell tx650a

Going through the wiring on a friends tx650, decided to replace the loom to get back to standard of some sort. However it seems the previous owners have messed around in the headlight splicing wires together, omitting electric start and keeping lights on permanently. All this done with no attention to wire colours etc.

I presumed all the wiring in the bucket would come with the loom but it looks to be coming out of the instrument binnacle, it’s a mess and I’m finding it hard to find a source of reference online.

Ideally I’d love someone in the surrey area of the uk to pop over with their tx (is Xs similar) pop off there headlight next to mine and I’d be away!

Failing this does anyone have images of the original wiring and connectors from the instrument binnacle and maybe some internal pics and it looks like there are some unoriginal wires coming out of it. Joy!

These are from the 74TXA Assembly manual.........an original and one i have done some scribbling on.

Don't be surprised if some of the connectors are different. Don't know for sure but it is a possibility as different countries has some differences. The main thing is colours go to colours, but as in your case that might not be possible

If someone hasn't posted a pic of the Gauge cluster wiring by tomorrow, (10.45PM here), i will take some pics and post them up
