As far as ignition goes, I just want to throw this out there. I bought a key switch brand new only to find out the soldering and wiring was crap. Bike kept dying and couldn’t figure it out. Cut off the insulation and saw this:
Bingo! Unsoldered the old wires and re-soldered in new wire. Works great now. Might be something you want to check. Good luck!
