Hello all,

My setup is a kick only, so no electic start. I have seen some very small 12V batteries, approximately the size of cigarette packs. Has anyone found a battery that they can confirm will fit in a stock headlight bucket with a stock headlight? I am running out of ideas for hiding this battery so I think that is the best solution. I just want to confirm before buy.

Best,
Adam

I think a battery in an enclosed headlight bucket will cause a heat issue. I have a camera battery, but found it did not charge well with the stock system.

There isn't much space inside the stock headlight bucket. Barely holds the wires.
That small a battery will work ok but need often replacement. Most hide them under the seat.

Why hasn't someone come up with a modified gas tank that has a battery compartment in it? It would only use about 1/2 a gallon of tank capacity. Access would be from the bottom of the tank using a battery that can be mounted in any position.
