Thought some of you guys might be interested in seeing the work table I just built from the online plans that are floating around....

the plans call for using 3/4 ply but I used two solid core office doors because, I already had one for free, and thought it might be significantly stronger. Its incredibly sturdy.

ha! saves my back!!! I never guessed it would make such a diff. I always wondered why I just never could get in the 'groove' of working on bikes, mowers, 4 wheelers, etc.

I think it was the bending down that was doing it.

I got one from Harbor Freight, and it works great. I had a coupon for $299, normally $499. The only thing I did was add a better front wheel stand to it, the one that came with is not good for anything.

Two sheets of 3/4 inch plywood are like $50. A few minutes of your time and it works gret and takes up just a few inchs of floor space when not used.
