How to connect boots to plug wires

I just got the dual outpoint coil from Mikes as well as the plug boots. Is it as simple as feeding the sharp point in the boot into the end of the wire? Seems like it could come out really easy. Seems like I am missing something to make that connection tight and secure.

You put the boot into the wire and turn it. The boot has a screw in it. So, screw the boot onto the wire. It does seem a little too easy though.

I like to prep the end of the wire a little before screwing the cap on. Strip about 1/8" of the insulation off and fan the wire strands out in a radial pattern. Apply a bit of dielectric grease to the wire end and screw the cap on .....
