M-unit pma setup with a capacitor

Anyone know if the M unit can be used if your using a pma setup with a capacitor no battery? Or if you have to have a battery to use the M unit.

That seems pretty responsible. I would think that with a reg/rec. designed not to overcharge lithium batteries you would be fine, but there are lot of folks on here more knowledgeable than me about those sorts of things. Thanks for posting the link, though - I didn't know about those folks.
 
Yeah even with that reg/rec if it were to go bad would be to late to remove seat bolts and put the fire out lol
