I want to make my own simple custom wiring harness for my 78SE. I've seen lots of great info about wiring diagrams etc but I've not found a guide / how to thread which really covers the physical creation of such a beast.
I'd like to know what tools, what type of wiring, heat shrink, braided sleeves, where to actually start! Where to best positon things (eg, reg), work out branches, cable routing, where to earth etc.
Really keen to learn but literally dont know where to start!
I'll be running, standard charge system, reg / rec combo, electronic ignition, turn signals (Indicators to us in the UK), horn, electric start, kill, small bates light,
Can anyone point me to threads / websites / that'll help me the the bits and bobs together and get started? Any advice / photos / best practice / tips would be massively appreciated!!!
