Mounting Mini Tach Directly to Engine Case?

Welder's penetrate deeper!!
I have not ssen it, but if I had to guesse, someone made a bracket that bolts to a head bolt, then mounted the mini to that. sound about right?

Engine bolt makes sense. But, ooh, electronic tach, I hadn't even considered that. Now that's got me thinking.
