- fab steering stop
- finish off foot pegs
- replace tyres
- add chain
- mount front fender
- fabricate rear fender
- mount rear fender
- mount rear light
- mount indicators FRONT ONES DONE!!
- mount coils
- add spark leads
- mount tacho and speedo DONE!!
- recon front caliper/s(not sure if I want to go twin or single yet) Going to scratch that, they don't fit
- paint and drill rotors
- possibly make spacers for calipers/rotors
- mount number plate
- wire entire bike
- mount PMA/boyer(not sure which one to get yet, thinking Boyer as it's local)
- mount rear brake switch
- clean gas tank
- paint gas tank
- plug excess petcock holes
- add horn
- add fake oil tank for housing electrics DONE!!
- paint fenders
- add key starter DONE!!!
- add hi/lo light switch DONE!!!
- add kill switch DONE!!!
- sort out exhausts
- add neutral light DONE!!!
- add petcock
- install fuel line
- add filter pods
- add oil
- add fuel
- run engine
- tune engine
- get MOT!!
Mounted the fake oil tank today! I was going to tick it off the list but it is already!
Oh well!
Made some mounting brackets using good ol' L-shaped brackets. I drilled the holes a bit larger, bent the one arm another 90deg to make a U-shaped bracket. I then drilled a few holes in the seat pan, and in the electrics box, added a few nuts and bolts, and it's all done!
Yup, key still fits!
I also added two copper tubes for the wires to exit, I don't trust the thin sharp tin, it would most definately rub through some wire and short the whole darn bike out!!
I also found a place to put the key cover while the key is in the ignition!!
I think I may have to get another tin and add the knob on the other side, I just like symmetry!!
I was going to add the horn, but it's so big and ugly, I just don't know where to put it to hide it away!! Any suggestions??
