Hello

I have a question about the installation of the advance rod.

Do I have to take out the bushings to put in the new brass or can I leave it like I found it and skip the brass installation? See pic:

I would not disturb the original bushings as long as the advance rod goes in and rotates smoothly. I would just lube the advance rod and run with it.

Thanks for Your reply. THE bushings are indeed prety stuck in there and the rod turns smoothly.

Lube the rod when you put it in then assemble the rest of the parts and make sure it passes the snap-back test as described in pete testing procedures.
